Now for our DT Favorites! These participants were each handpicked from 211 entries!
Team members who participated in the challenge each selected a favorite and here they are:
Amy's favorite is #144- Dawn Frost and here's why in her own words: This card caught my eye right away! Love the pink and black color combo and fabulous coloring. The die cuts are gorgeous and add the perfect touch!
Beverley's favorite is #101 by Jen L and here's why in her own words: Its the one that jumped out at me. I love the bright colours, it would make a fab kiddie card
Billie's favorite is #63. Luke and here's why in her own words: He's 9 years old and when visiting his Grammy he made this card, picking out everything himself. I love this card. His coloring, shading and choice of papers letting the colored image speak for its self. I like the use of stickles on the background. This is one beautiful card sure to make his Grammy very proud. Your are awesome Luke. I hope you join us again with your lovely creations.
Diane's favorite is #63 by 9 year old Luke and here's why in her own words: He has amazing coloring skills. He'll give us all a run for our money in a couple years. Keep up the good work, Luke. Besides that it's one of my all-time favorite images.
Wendy's favorite is #63 by Luke and here's why in her own words: Absolutely brilliant card for a 9 year old. Well done Luke x
Dianne's favorite is #80-Emma and here's why in her own words: Fabulous Vintage card love the colour's and techniques x
Ema's favorite is #112 - Jacee and here's why in her own words: Beautifully designed and fantastic DPs. I really liked that image as well. I'd have accused Jacee of being an enabler if I'd found the link to the image and been able to get her! Ha!
Hazel's favorite is #115 by The Crafty Nurse and here's why in her own words: because the eyes of the image just caught me and the three black stars on the edge of the circle are a lovely finishing touch.
Ivy's favorite is #196 Merlina and here's why in her own words: Merlina did a great job on her mixed media heart. I like how she added the small flowers on the bottom climbing up on the left side. The clock was an extra touch to the piece, especially with the sentiment coming from the scriptures. Nice! On her blog she claims that she "tried" to make a mixed media piece. She didn't try... she did it!
Lynn's favorite is #34 - Auroria and here's why in her own words: his is such an intricate image and the card is coloured so well with such soft, sweet colours...just makes me go WOW !!!
Michelle's favorite is #114 Tonnie and here's why in her own words: I like that she joined with a great scrapbook layout. And her sentiment on the layout is so lovely.
